Chicken Slider Sandwich

The chicken slider sandwich is the simplest of chicken sandwiches that can be prepared for lunch or dinner at home (with some preparation ahead of time) when you’re craving something quick (less than fifteen minutes of cooking) but satisfying. I have used Rye bread for the sandwich, you can definitely use bread rolls if you prefer. You can use different types of cheese and toppings on every slider to please everyone including the picky eaters. Happy Fall, guys! xo

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoons Paprika
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
Juice of 1 Lemon
4 Slices Cheese, I used pepper jack
Salt and Ground Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Plain Yoghurt
2 Thin-Cut Chicken Breasts, halved and flattened
4 Bread Rolls
For Topping:
Avocado
Cilantro
Tomato
Pico De Gallo
Lettuce
Hot Sauce

Process

  1. To marinate the chicken: Mix the oil, Worcestershire sauce, Paprika, garlic, lemon juice, yoghurt, salt and pepper in a bowl and marinate for at least an hour (and up to overnight).
  2. Heat a non stick grill pan or a skillet on medium heat and brush with little oil. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side. Right after flipping the chicken breasts, lay a slice of cheese on the top.
  3. Serve the chicken over rolls and desired fixings.

Enjoy! 🙂
