Baked Lamb Chops

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all of you wonderful peeps!! Special weekends call for special dishes for friends and family. This weekend’s special dish is Baked Lamb Chops that requires a bit of preparation, but they are totally worth the wait. I hope you make them and like them as much as me and my folks do!
Ingredients
6 Lamb Chops, about 3/4-inch thick
¼ Cup Plain Greek Yoghurt
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Coriander
½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
¼ Teaspoon Allspice
Lemon Juice and Chopped Cilantro for Garnishing
Process
- Wash the lamb chops and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a medium bowl, mix yoghurt with all the dry spices.
- Marinate the lamb chops with the yoghurt mix and cover with a plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour, preferably over night.
- Take the lamb chops from the fridge an hour before serving.
- Pre heat the oven to 375 deg F and arrange the lamb chops on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake the chops for 20 minutes, flip over and bake for another 20 minutes (40 minutes total baking time).
- Arrange the baked chops in a serving dish, sprinkle lemon juice and cilantro and serve warm.
